The Pre-Trial Bond Coordinator works under the guidance of the AIC Supervisor.  Under the direction of the AIC Supervisor, the Coordinator will review county jail inmates to determine eligibility for the department’s bond supervision program and make recommendations to the Court regarding candidates for the personal recognizance bonds.

JOB SCOPE:

The Coordinator will review county jail inmates to determine eligibility for the department’s bond supervision program and make recommendations to the Court regarding candidates for the personal recognizance bonds.

The Pre-trial Bond Coordinator is specially trained and experienced in recognizing offender suitability for PR Bonds/Chap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews arrest listings or follows referrals made by the courts to identify potential candidates for House Arrests or PR Bonds.
  • Gathers personal data on candidates from various systems.
  • Reviews Computerized Criminal History reports for PR Bonds and Drug Court.
  • Interviews defendants and explains the PR Bond or House Arrest.
  • Confirms information gathered from interviews (address, job, phone number).
  • Prepares legal documents for PR Bonds and House Arrests then gathers signatures from the appropriate courts.
  • Files bond paperwork with clerk and compiles all other documentation into a packet that is sent to the AIC Supervisor to be placed in the defendants PR Bond or CHAP file.
  • Process Offense Report requests for Tom Green County agencies.
  • TLETS Operator for CSCD upon request and backup TLETS Operator for Court Unit
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the AIC Supervisor.
